Inspiration

I am a sucker for "self-help" books. Books like "The Secret," "The Five Love Languages," "The Happiness Project," etc. I have come across the word Passion time and time again. They say finding your passion is more simple than it sounds. Think about what you do on your days off or the hobbies you have. What would you do if there was no money involved? What are you good at?
Okay, so I don't think my passion is having bubble bath's and reading trash magazines! Nor is it cuddling with my handsome hubby and watching The Real World! I don't really have any true hobbies or talents that I know of. My ispiration to start this blog and ultimately find my passion was a combination of reading the book "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin and watching Will Smith's words of wisdom on youtube.

My sister has also been a great inspiration. A business and home-owner by the age of 26 and has a true passion for what she does. For the last 6 months or so, I have felt a need for something more. Don't get me wrong, I am a very lucky young woman! Newly wed with amazing family and a few close friends. I am satisfied with my job as a Practical Nurse. Plus I feel as though I am good at what I do. However, the word "satisfied" haunts me! I don't want to be satisfied! I want to be excited! I want to be PASSIONATE!
There is a question that a friend of mine brought up that got me thinking. Is it better to do something that you are satisfied with and be able to have time for things on the side that you absolutely love? Or is it better to be
passionate about your job and put so much into it that you may not have much free time on the side?
Maybe you can have both?
